  1. Save the treatment

Document the treatment completely and click Save. The PDF export is only available after saving.

  2. Click “Report”

In the treatment view, you will find the Report button at the top. One click opens the email composer with all export options.

  3. Configure options

Before downloading or sending, you can configure the report individually:

    OptionDescription
Show commentsActivates the “practice view” with internal comments and severity levels. When deactivated, shows the client-friendly view without internal notes.
Show QR codeAdds a scannable QR code that allows pet owners to view the treatment online.
Render animal model graphicsGenerates high-quality images of the animal models with all markings. A progress bar shows the rendering status. (Available from the Max plan.)
  4. Download or send

You have two ways to share the finished report:

    • Download — Click the download button next to the treatment. The PDF is saved directly to your device.
    • Send via email — Send the report directly from TheraTap. Recipient, subject, and message are already pre-filled — customizable with your own email templates.

In the email composer, you can select multiple treatments at the same time. Each treatment is attached as a separate PDF — with individual options per report. This way, you can send the complete treatment history of a patient in a single email.

To make your report look professional and recognizable, you have two options:

Upload your practice logo and contact details under Settings > Company. Both automatically appear in the header area of every PDF.

For a fully customized layout, you can upload your own A4 letterhead as an image (JPG or PNG) under Settings > Letterhead. This replaces the logo and address in the PDF header and gives your reports a consistent look — matching the rest of your practice branding.

Each PDF can contain a QR code. When scanned, it opens the treatment directly in the browser — including the interactive animal model with all markings. The link works without login and without app installation. Ideal for pet owners to view the assessment on their smartphone or forward it to their veterinarian.

The PDF is generated in the language you have set in TheraTap. Supported languages include German, English, French, Dutch, and others. This allows you to create reports for international clients or collaboration partners as well.

Have you supplemented or corrected a treatment after the fact? No problem — simply create a new PDF. Previous versions are not overwritten. This way, older reports are preserved as reference, and you can send the current version at any time.

The report can be sent directly from TheraTap to various recipients:

  • Pet owners — for documentation, follow-up care, and as proof
  • Veterinary practices — for professional coordination and further treatment
  • Clinics and colleagues — for referrals or second opinions
  • Insurance companies — as proof of treatment costs
