Therapy Plans
Therapy plans in TheraTap help you provide your clients with clear instructions for follow-up care. You can create individual plans, work with templates, export as PDF, and send directly via email.

In the Patient Record
Every therapy plan is automatically saved in the patient’s timeline and accessible at any time.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”A therapy plan contains the following information:
- Title — e.g., “Aftercare Plan Shoulder Area”
- Content — free-text field with a rich text editor for detailed instructions
- Time period — start and end date of the plan
- Frequency — how often the exercises should be performed (daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly)
- Notes — internal remarks for you or your team
Creating a Therapy Plan
Section titled “Creating a Therapy Plan”-
Open the patient record
Navigate to the patient record of the affected patient. You will find the therapy plans as a dedicated section within the record.

Create a new therapy plan
Click + New Therapy Plan. A form with all fields opens.

Enter the content
Fill in the title, content, and time period. The rich text editor allows you to:
- Use formatting (bold, italic, lists)
- Create structured instructions with numbered steps
- Add notes and warnings
Use a template: You can load a template previously created under Settings > Templates to create recurring therapy plans more quickly.

Set the frequency
Choose how often the measures should be carried out:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Biweekly
- Monthly

Save
Click Save. The therapy plan appears in the patient’s timeline.
Sending a Therapy Plan
Section titled “Sending a Therapy Plan”After saving, the following options are available:
- Download PDF — Create a professional PDF document of the therapy plan.
- Send via email — Open the email composer and send the plan directly to the pet owner. The therapy plan is attached as an attachment.
Editing or Deleting a Therapy Plan
Section titled “Editing or Deleting a Therapy Plan”- Edit: Open an existing therapy plan and adjust the content. Changes are saved immediately.
- Delete: Click the delete icon. A confirmation prompt will appear before the plan is permanently removed.
Templates for Therapy Plans
Section titled “Templates for Therapy Plans”Under Settings > Templates, you can create reusable therapy plan templates. When creating a new plan, simply select the desired template and customize it as needed.
