Getting Started with TheraTap

Welcome to TheraTap! You’ll be up and running in just a few minutes: create your account, add your first client, document an assessment – and optionally activate your online appointment booking. This guide walks you through everything you need to know.

  1. Register

    Create your account at go.theratap.app. Registration takes less than a minute – all you need is an email address.

  2. Enter your practice details

    Under Settings > Company, enter your practice information:

    • Practice name and address
    • Phone number and email
    • Logo (appears on PDFs and your booking page)

  1. Create a contact

    • Quick option: Click + Create > New Contact in the top right
    • Via the menu: Contacts > + New Contact

    Enter the name, phone number, and email. Optional: address and notes.

  2. Add an animal and assign it

    • Quick option: Via + Create > New Animal
    • Via the menu: Animals > + New Animal

    Enter the species, breed, age, and any special characteristics, then assign the animal to the contact. In the patient record, you’ll then find all treatments, media, and documents for this patient.

  1. Start a treatment

    • Quick option: Click New Treatment in the top right > select the animal
    • Via the patient record: Open the animal > + New Treatment

    The treatment view opens immediately with the appropriate animal model.

  2. Document the assessment

    All tools are available to you in a single view:

  3. Save and continue

    Click Save. After that, you can directly:

    • Create a professional PDF with your practice logo
    • Send the assessment via email to pet owners or colleagues
    • Schedule a follow-up appointment or duplicate the treatment

  1. Complete your public profile

    Under Settings > Public Profile, configure the following:

    • Description, services, and specializations
    • Opening hours and location
    • Visibility in the therapist directory
  2. Create treatment types

    Under Settings > Treatment Types, define the bookable services with duration and price. Learn more at Treatment Types.

  3. Set working hours

    Under Settings > Working Hours, define your available time slots and days off. Learn more at Working Hours.

  4. Activate online booking

    Under Settings > Booking Settings, enable Activate Online Booking Calendar. After that:
