Installation is done directly via the browser — no App Store, no additional download. Once added to your home screen, TheraTap launches like a native app and uses local storage for fast loading and offline features.

What Is a Progressive Web App?

A PWA (Progressive Web App) is a web application that behaves like a native app — with the advantage that you install it directly from the browser, without needing an App Store.

Tip

You don’t need an App Store. TheraTap can be installed directly from the browser to your home screen — ready to use immediately. For iOS and Android, there are demo videos that show the installation process step by step.

Installing TheraTap

The installation differs depending on the device and browser. However, the steps are similar everywhere: open TheraTap in the browser, add to home screen — done.

Important: Wait for Readiness

The PWA is only fully ready for use when the message “App ready for offline use” appears. Open the app after adding it to the home screen and wait for this confirmation — only then will offline mode be available to you.

On iPhone / iPad (Safari)

1. Open TheraTap in Safari

   Navigate to go.theratap.app and sign in.

2. Tap the Share button

   Tap the Share icon (square with an upward arrow) in the Safari toolbar.

3. Select “Add to Home Screen”

   Scroll down in the options and tap Add to Home Screen.

4. Confirm the name and add

   Confirm the name “TheraTap” and tap Add. The app now appears on your home screen.

5. Wait for readiness

   The PWA is only fully ready for use when the message “App ready for offline use” appears. Open the app after adding it and wait for this confirmation — then offline mode is available to you.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Open TheraTap in Chrome

   Navigate to go.theratap.app and sign in.

2. Accept the install banner

   Chrome automatically shows a banner with “Install App”. Tap on it.

   Alternatively: Tap the three-dot menu in the top right and select “Install App” or “Add to Home Screen”.

3. Confirm installation

   Confirm the installation. TheraTap will be installed as a standalone app on your device.

4. Wait for readiness

   The PWA is only fully ready for use when the message “App ready for offline use” appears. Open the app after installation and wait for this confirmation — then offline mode is available to you.

On Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

1. Open TheraTap in the browser

   Navigate to go.theratap.app.

2. Click the install icon

   An install icon (monitor with arrow) appears in the address bar. Click on it and confirm the installation.

3. Use as an app

   TheraTap opens in its own window — without a browser bar, like a native desktop application.

Install option not appearing?

On some devices, the install icon only appears after a few seconds or after the first login. Make sure you have go.theratap.app (not the documentation) open. If you encounter issues, check our demo videos.

TheraTap automatically detects whether you’re working on a desktop or a mobile device and adjusts the view accordingly. On desktop, you see a full sidebar navigation; on smartphone, a compact, finger-friendly interface.

Data Synchronization

All data is synchronized with the server in real time. When you create a treatment on one device, it’s immediately available on all other devices.

When the internet connection is lost, TheraTap automatically switches to offline mode, where you can continue working. As soon as the connection is restored, all data is synchronized.
