MeinTier – the app for your clients
MeinTier is the free app for pet owners (iPhone, Android and in the browser). Your clients see appointments, shared findings and exercise plans of their animal, message you in the chat and record health data such as weight or pain. MeinTier is active in every TheraTap practice and costs your practice nothing.
Inviting clients
Section titled “Inviting clients”- Open the start page (Today). The MeinTier tile shows how many of your contacts with an email address already have an account. Alternatively: Settings → Integrations.
- Click Invite. The list shows all contacts with an email address who don’t have an account yet.
- Select the contacts and send the invitations. Each email address receives only one email, even if several contacts use it.
How the link is made
Section titled “How the link is made”Your client registers in MeinTier with the email address stored in her contact and confirms it. TheraTap then links her account to her animals in your practice automatically.
Nothing is linked without a confirmed email address, so nobody can get at your clients’ data with someone else’s address.
What your clients see
Section titled “What your clients see”| Area | Visible in MeinTier |
|---|---|
| Appointments | All upcoming appointments of the animal, except private ones |
| Findings | Only entries you shared individually and completed |
| Exercise plans | Only plans you shared individually |
| Notes | Only notes set to Public |
Sharing a finding
Section titled “Sharing a finding”- Open the patient record and the Documentation tab.
- Click ⋯ next to the entry and choose Share in MeinTier.
- The entry now carries the MeinTier badge. As soon as it is completed, your client sees it in the app.
To undo, use Stop sharing in MeinTier in the same menu. If you copy an entry with Duplicate, the copy is not shared.
A shared finding appears in MeinTier like the online report:
- only the sections visible in the client report
- the findings without your comments
- the body map images, but no photos or videos from the entry
Sharing an exercise plan
Section titled “Sharing an exercise plan”In the Plan & check-ups tab, click ⋯ next to the plan and choose Share with pet owner. The plan then appears in MeinTier with all its exercises.
What your clients share
Section titled “What your clients share”Your clients record health data such as weight, pain or lameness in MeinTier. Whether you see it in the patient record is up to the client, in the app under the connection to your practice.
