Create an invoice with AI
You’ve treated an animal over several weeks, documented multiple appointments, jotted down notes — and now it all needs to become an invoice? Instead of collecting everything by hand, let the AI do it: one click on the Create with AI button, and TheraTap scans every relevant record since the last invoice and proposes ready-made line items.

How it works

Open the animal record
Switch to the Invoices tab for the animal. Next to Create invoice you’ll find the Create with AI button.

Choose the period
TheraTap suggests the day after your last invoice as the start date. If the animal has never been invoiced, the last year is used. You can change the date at any time — every record from that date onwards is included.

Create the draft
Tap Create draft. The AI now scans all appointments, treatments and notes for the animal within the chosen period and derives line items from them.

Review the proposal
The completed invoice draft opens with the suggested line items. Check the description, quantity and price — fill in any missing amounts and adjust what doesn’t fit.

Save or finalise
Save the draft to keep working on it later, or finalise the invoice straight away.
What the AI evaluates
Section titled “What the AI evaluates”To build a complete proposal, the AI considers every text-bearing record for the animal within the chosen period:

Articles and prices
Section titled “Articles and prices”The AI never invents prices. Instead it matches the recognised services against your article catalogue:
- If a line item matches an article, its price, tax rate and unit are applied automatically.
- If there’s no matching article, the line item is inserted without a price — you fill in the amount yourself.
This keeps your invoices consistent and leaves you in full control of the amounts charged.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does it create a finished invoice straight away? No. It always produces a draft that you review and adjust before finalising.
Why do some line items have no price? Because the AI couldn’t find a matching article in your catalogue. Save the service as an article and the price will be applied automatically next time.
Which period is used? By default the day after your last invoice for this animal. You can pick any start date.
Does it work for collective invoices across several animals? The AI draft is created per animal. For a collective invoice, combine the line items afterwards in the regular invoice view.
