Two clear modes
Link + checkbox for a quick confirmation — or online with signature with a PDF in the file.
Privacy & treatment contract
Under Settings → Communication & templates → Privacy & treatment contract you choose how pet owners confirm your privacy information and optionally the treatment contract — via link and checkbox or with an online signature. Signatures and acceptances are stored in the record; on-site signing remains available when a text template is set.

In online-signature mode you can send the link manually or automatically after an online booking.
In the anamnesis form
Link mode: checkbox on the review step. Online signature: a dedicated step to read and sign.
On site
With a stored text, customers can sign in the practice or stable directly in the animal or contact record.
Open the settings
Section titled “Open the settings”- Go to Settings → Communication & templates.
- Open Privacy & treatment contract.
- Save your changes.
Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”Privacy has no “Off” option: you always choose one of the two modes. If the URL or text is empty, nothing is shown to customers.

Privacy is contact-wide: if the owner has already signed, the signature step is skipped in anamnesis for further animals.
Treatment contract

Link + checkbox vs online signature

Section titled “Link + checkbox”- Best when the document lives externally (website, PDF link).
- In anamnesis, confirmation appears on the final review step next to the terms — no separate wizard screen.
- On online booking, a required checkbox appears when the URL is set.
- If you also store the text, you can collect an on-site signature in the record.
Online with signature
Section titled “Online with signature”- Customers open a dedicated link, read the text and sign digitally.
- In anamnesis, there is a dedicated step before review (only if not already signed).
- The signed version is stored as a PDF.
- Optional: “Automatically email on online booking if not yet signed” — after booking, a separate email with the signing link is sent. This is not the same email as the anamnesis form.
