Profile & Therapist Directory

Your public therapist profile is your digital business card. Pet owners can see at a glance who you are, what you offer, and how to reach you. If you also activate the therapist directory, new clients can find you via location search and map view – without any marketing effort on your part. Combined with the online booking calendar, pet owners can book an appointment or send you a message directly from your profile.

Each profile automatically receives its own URL:

Pet owners can see all the information you provide in your settings:

Public Transport & Accessibility	How to reach your practice and its accessibility features
Contact Details	Phone, email, and website – directly clickable

If the online booking calendar is active, the “Book Appointment Now” and “Send Message” buttons also appear on your profile. Pet owners can request an appointment or ask you a question directly from your profile.

Setting Up Your Profile

1. Open Public Profile

   Navigate to Settings > Public Profile. Here you manage all the information that appears on your profile page.

2. Fill in Basic Information

   Complete all fields as thoroughly as possible: short description, detailed description, specializations, services, and animal types. The more detailed your profile, the more trustworthy it appears to potential clients.

3. Specify Practice Type and Location

   Choose whether you work as a mobile therapist or have a fixed practice. For a fixed practice, your address is automatically displayed on a map. For mobile therapists, “Mobile Therapy” is shown instead.

4. Upload Logo

   Your logo appears consistently on:

   • Your public profile page
   • Your booking page
   • PDFs, invoices, and contracts
   • Emails to your clients

5. Review Your Profile Page

   At the bottom of the settings, you will find the direct link to your profile page. Open it to check how your profile looks to pet owners.

Tip

Also fill in the fields for opening hours, public transport, and accessibility. The more complete your profile, the higher the chance that pet owners will contact you.

Therapist Directory

The TheraTap therapist directory is a public listing where pet owners can find therapists near them. Participation is optional and can be activated with a single click.

Activate Visibility

Navigate to Settings > Public Profile and activate:

Show in public directories	Your profile appears in the therapist directory and becomes searchable via search and filters
Show on map	Your location is displayed on the map view (only useful for fixed practices)

How Pet Owners Find You

The directory offers extensive search and filter options:

Filter	Description
Text search	Search by name, specialization, or description
Animal type	Horse, dog, or cat
Practice type	Mobile therapy or fixed practice
Specialization	E.g., physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture
Online bookable	Only therapists with an active booking calendar
Rating	Filter by minimum rating

Pet owners see an overview in the directory with your logo, name, specializations, and the label “Online bookable” if you have activated the booking calendar. From there, they can go directly to your profile and request an appointment.

Note

Your profile page is statically generated and automatically updated every 24 hours. Changes to your profile will be visible by the next day at the latest.

Legal Links

Under Settings → Practice data (legal links) you set the terms of service URL (and optionally a privacy URL for practice data). Privacy and treatment contract for customers (link + checkbox or online signature) are configured under Settings → Communication & templates.

Audit-proof documentation

Acceptances and online signatures are stored in an audit-proof way — including timestamp and technical metadata. You can always prove that consent or a signature was given.

Sharing Your Booking Link

You can find your personal booking link under Settings > Public Profile. You can share two variants:

Recommended Places to Use

• Website – as a “Book Appointment Now” button or embedded widget
• Social Media – Instagram link in bio, Facebook page, TikTok
• WhatsApp & Email Signatures – for quick appointment scheduling
• Google Maps Listing – so clients can book directly
• Offline – QR codes on flyers, business cards, and stickers

Tip

The link with #calendar opens the booking calendar directly when accessed. Ideal when you share the link specifically for appointment bookings. With #message, the contact form opens instead.
