Not every session needs a full examination form. Often one sentence is enough: date, what you noticed, what you treated – just like a paper record card. That is what notes in the animal record are for. All entries for an animal are listed one below the other, so you don’t have to switch between documents.

One entry per day
If you add something on the same day, it is appended to your note from today.
Add later
Change the date with one tap – e.g. to “Yesterday” if you document in the evening.
Dictate
Speak instead of typing – the text lands in the note field.
Open the animal record (or the appointment) and tap the field “What did you notice, what did you treat?”.
Write your text – or tap Dictate and speak it.
If the note belongs to a different day, tap Today ▾ and choose Yesterday or a date.
Tap Save or press ⌘ + Enter (Windows: Ctrl + Enter). The note appears in the list right away.
If you already wrote a note for this animal today, TheraTap shows above the save button: “Will be added to your note from today”. Your new text is added below the existing one with a blank line – so there is one entry per treatment day. If you want a separate entry instead, tap As new note.
To change older notes, tap them in the list: text, date and visibility can be edited.
All notes in the card takes you to the History of the animal record – already filtered to Notes. There you see the complete record card of the animal, newest first. With the All filter, appointments, findings, invoices and emails are shown as well.
