Set up multiple locations

When your therapists work at several treatment sites, you map that in TheraTap using locations. Each location has its own address, colour and booking link. Appointments, rooms and devices belong to a location – patient records, items and invoices stay shared across the whole practice.

Who is this for?

Locations are worthwhile when a practice treats at several addresses. If you only have one location, nothing changes – the feature stays hidden.

One billing entity per practice

Locations do not split the billing entity. All locations in a practice belong to the same company – billing address, bank details, items and patient records are shared practice-wide.

If you need several legally separate companies (own billing address, own subscription), create a separate practice in TheraTap for each company. With the same user account you can switch between practices at any time.

Create locations

1. Open Settings → Online booking → Locations. 2. Enter name, address, phone and a colour for each location. 3. Mark one location as the primary location. 4. Deactivate locations you don’t offer instead of deleting them.

Assign rooms & capacity

How room capacity works

If a location has only one treatment room, only one appointment is bookable at the same time – even with several therapists. A location with two rooms allows two parallel appointments.

Under Rooms, assign each room to its location. Bookable capacity follows from that.

Schedule & absences

In the Schedule you set each therapist’s recurring standard week with a location per shift; individual weeks are adjustable. Under Absences you enter vacation/sick leave – this blocks online booking in the range.

Online booking per location

As soon as more than one location is active, pet owners first choose the location in the booking widget. The confirmation email and calendar file contain the booked location’s address.
