Appointment cockpit

The appointment cockpit is the page for this visit. While the calendar plans the day and the Flow Board shows how far along each appointment is, you work the visit in the cockpit: context on the left, treatment in the middle, closing on the right.

Everything about this visit

Patient, warnings, anamnesis, findings, files, services and billing stay on one page.

Findings in the appointment

Start a findings form, copy the last visit, or create a document — without leaving the page.

Closing included

Record services, draft the invoice, stamp card and follow-up — before the next patient arrives.

Three ways in

From the Flow Board, from the appointment form, and from the appointment list in a contact or animal record.

  1. From the Flow Board

Clicking a patient card opens the cockpit for that appointment. Dragging the card to In treatment takes you there as well.

  2. From the appointment form

An existing appointment has Open cockpit in the sidebar.

  3. From the appointment list

In a contact or animal record, every appointment row has the Flow icon — the same path, without opening the calendar first.

At the top you see who is here: animal, owner, appointment type, room, time, time in column and the current board column. Next to that you move the appointment to the next column — or straight to the next patient.

Below that sit three columns. On a narrow screen they stack; a jump bar takes you quickly to Context, Treatment and Closing.

On the left is what you need before you touch the animal:

  • Master data, warnings and diagnoses
  • Visit count and last visit
  • History of earlier appointments — a click opens the visit dossier (findings, documents, files from that day)
  • Notes on the animal and an appointment note that applies only to this visit
  • Linked contacts

In the middle, today’s work:

  • Owner anamnesis, if a form belongs to this appointment
  • Today: findings forms, documents and files for this visit
  • Start a new findings form, copy from the previous one, or start from scratch
  • Record services the same way as on an invoice

For assessment on the model you can widen the middle column — context and closing step aside.

On the right, what closes the visit:

  • Open tasks for the animal
  • Follow-up with free slots for the therapist — optionally as a series
  • Billing: draft invoice from the services, open invoices, stamp or redeem a stamp card

Under Today you collect what belongs to this visit. Each item is attached to the appointment, not only to the animal record — so it stays clear what was created today.

Action Effect
Findings Creates a findings form for this appointment
Copy from previous Uses the last findings form as a starting point
Document Creates a document from a template, linked to the appointment
File Uploads a file and attaches it to the visit
Send Emails today’s papers to the contact

Earlier visits open from the history as a visit dossier — read-only, without leaving today’s appointment.

The button at the top right follows the next column on the board, for example from In treatment to Ready to pay. If nobody is waiting, it reads Back to board. If there is a next patient, you jump straight into their cockpit.
