Veterinary practices of any size – small animal, equine or mixed, clinic-based or mobile. Practices where veterinary medicine and therapy such as physiotherapy or osteopathy work together are especially interesting.

What does taking part cost?

We agree the terms for pilot practices individually in our first conversation – depending on how your practice is set up and which features matter most to you.

Do I have to replace my current software right away?

No. You can test TheraTap alongside your current software and decide for yourself when to switch. We help you move your data.

How much time do I need to invest?

As much as fits into your day: an introductory call, then short feedback rounds. Often a few minutes are enough to tell us what works and what doesn't.

Which X-ray systems and labs are supported?

We decide that together. We start with the systems our pilot practices actually use – tell us which X-ray system, lab and billing software you work with.

Is patient data secure?

Yes. All data is stored on GDPR-compliant servers in Germany. The pilot follows the same security standards as regular operation.

Why a pilot project?

TheraTap is used in more than 1,500 practices – from animal physiotherapy and osteopathy to mobile veterinary practices. Booking, patient records, findings and GOT billing already run in one system today.

A full veterinary practice needs more: X-ray and lab integration, medication in the treatment record and a practice workflow tailored to veterinary work. That is exactly what we are building now – not on the drawing board, but with practices that use TheraTap every day.

How the pilot works

Short paths instead of long specifications: we collect, build and test in short cycles directly with the pilot practices.

Collect requirements: We look at your day-to-day practice: which devices, labs and billing programs you use and where things get stuck today.
Build together: We develop the features step by step and give you early access for testing – before they are released to everyone.
Test in daily practice: You use the new features in real practice and give feedback. Whatever doesn't fit, we adjust until it works.

What we are building in the pilot

The first items come straight from the daily routine of a veterinary practice where veterinary medicine and osteopathy work under one roof. The list grows with every pilot practice.

X-ray integration: Create an X-ray request in TheraTap and send it to the X-ray system – owner and patient data are there instantly. The image then lands in the patient record automatically.
Lab integration: Create lab requests straight from the record and automatically match results from labs such as IDEXX, SYNLAB or Veteo to the right patient.
GOT billing: The German fee schedule (GOT) is already built in, including an adjustable fee rate. In the pilot we fine-tune billing together for everyday veterinary work.
Medication in record and invoice: Record medication with quantities directly in the ongoing treatment record and carry it over to the invoice as line items – eventually with automatic stock tracking when dispensing.
Patient status in Flow: Flow already shows you where each animal is right now and lets you move patients along, including rooms and walk-ins. In the pilot we adapt the stations to the veterinary practice: waiting room, X-ray, veterinary treatment, osteopathy.
Messages to reception: Quick messages from the treatment room to reception and the team. Messaging already exists in TheraTap – in the pilot we adapt it to the workflow of a veterinary practice.

Planned features are goals of the pilot project, not commitments to dates or specific devices and labs. Which integrations come first depends on the pilot practices.
