Nothing happens automatically. You won't be moved to a paid plan – your data is kept until you decide.

Monthly billing: Your subscription expires one month after the purchase of the subscription. Example: You subscribe on 12.02. and your subscription runs until February 11th. and will be on 12.02. automatically extended. Up to and including 11.02. can be canceled at any time.

Annual billing: Your subscription runs for exactly one year from the date of purchase and is automatically renewed every year. The subscription can be canceled at any time within the period. Your subscription runs until the end of the agreed period.

It is possible to change the subscription at any time by booking a different package and/or choosing a different billing interval (e.g. from Profi to Praxis and/or from monthly to annual billing). The new functions are activated immediately after purchase. You then pay the difference in the costs of the new subscription pro rata until the end of the term of the “old” subscription.

Example: You buy a Profi subscription on 14.03. and buy on 30.03. a Praxis subscription. Your Praxis subscription will be activated immediately and you will pay the difference between the two prices by April 13th. From April 14th pay the price of the Praxis subscription.

Yes. Findings, appointments and notes are created offline on your device and sync automatically as soon as you have reception again.

You can add TheraTap as a WebApp to the Home screen. You can find out how to do this here: Use TheraTap on your smartphone or tablet.

TheraTap is (still) a web app and cannot be found in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. The use and function is the same as with a "normal" app and for the foreseeable future we will also be accessible via the usual stores.

You open the 3D model of horse, dog or cat, switch on the right layer (e.g. muscle or bone), tap the structure and pick the severity. You can also set markers and draw freehand. The findings later appear as an image in the PDF report – so your clients see exactly where the problem is.

Yes, you can use both pre-made templates and completely individual anamnesis forms for different animal species and treatment types. The forms can be saved and reused.

That can happen – which is why TheraTap doesn't apply anything without asking. Every result appears as a suggestion that you review, correct or discard. Professional responsibility stays with you.

It doesn't – and that's intentional. The AI identifies from your appointments, treatments and notes which services were provided. TheraTap takes the price and tax rate exclusively from your article catalog. Without a matching article, the price stays empty until you enter it.

Findings and anamnesis forms as PDF or image (JPG, PNG, WebP), up to 10 MB and up to 10 pages. An empty, clearly legible form works best – the AI takes over the structure, not the entries.

Content is only sent to an external AI service when you use an AI feature – without the AI add-on, this doesn't happen. Which service providers are involved is listed in the sub-processor list of our data processing agreement (DPA).

A location is a treatment site of your practice with its own address, colour and booking link. Appointments, rooms and devices belong to a location; patient records, items and invoices stay shared across the whole practice.

Online booking takes the treatment rooms per location into account. If a location has only one room, only one appointment is bookable at the same time – even with several therapists. A location with two rooms allows two parallel appointments.

Yes. Animals, owners and the entire treatment history are identical at all locations. Only scheduling and booking are location-specific.

Yes. As soon as more than one location is active, pet owners first choose the location in the booking widget. They then see only matching appointments, and the confirmation contains the correct address.

For practices whose therapists treat at several sites – for example a physiotherapy practice with two locations or a team offering fixed treatment days at different addresses. For single-location practices nothing changes.

Each appointment needs a usable address on the patient or contact. Appointments without an address are skipped and shown as a notice — so you immediately see what still needs to be maintained.

Yes – you can upgrade at any time in your account. The new price is charged pro rata and takes effect immediately. A downgrade is generally possible too: just email info@theratap.de so we can check whether your current usage fits the target plan (e.g. number of patient files). If it doesn't fit and you'd like to leave TheraTap, you can cancel your subscription at any time at the end of the billing period.

Plan prices are all-inclusive – all standard features are included. Optional add-ons (AI voice function) are available separately. All prices exclude VAT.

Nothing. Switching service and data migration are free — no matter how many clients you bring. No setup package, no onboarding fee.

Clients with contact details, animals with master data and treatment history almost always come across. Layout customisations and templates from the old system often do not, attachments only in part. CSV or Excel is the most reliable.

First we talk briefly: which system, which format. Then you request the export from your current provider and send it to us — only once the path is clear. We set up the practice in TheraTap, you review at your pace. It usually takes a few working days.

No. The regular 14-day trial is what every new account gets — not a special offer. You can check in peace whether the move and TheraTap fit your practice.

Better not as a first contact. The file contains client and patient data. That is why we talk first: whether the move is possible, which format we need, and how the file reaches us safely. After the import we delete the export.

No. First tell us which system you use. Do not send the export as the first step — only after we have said how it can reach us safely.
