Clinic in the morning, horses in the afternoon – set appointment types per shift
Many practices mix the day: clinic in the morning, mobile equine work in the afternoon. Until now, a therapist’s skills always applied globally – whether they were in the treatment room or at the stable. You can now optionally set appointment types per shift in the schedule.
How it works
For each shift (in the standard week and in week overrides) you can optionally choose the matching appointment types. Without a selection, the resource’s global skills still apply. With a selection, only those appointment types apply in that shift’s time window – they replace the global skills for that block.
That also works for mixed days with several shifts: clinic-only in the morning, horses-only in the afternoon – without creating the person twice.
Hard online, soft internally
- Online booking: Clients only see slots that match the shift’s effective appointment type.
- Internal calendar: You can still save a mismatch – TheraTap shows a warning when the appointment type and shift don’t line up.
Getting started
- Open Settings → Online booking → Schedule
- Edit a shift (time, optional location)
- Optionally choose the appointment types for that shift
- Save – for this week only, or from now on
Clearer booking. Fewer wrong bookings. A schedule that matches real practice days.
